My name is Maria Ruvalcaba and I'm a bilingual Art Director based in Dallas, Texas. I graduated from Texas A&M University-Commerce with a BFA with emphasis in Art Direction in 2019 and I have five years of industry experience. Some of the clients I've gotten to work with are AT&T, Lone Star, DIRECTV, and NTTA.
My experience as an Art Director includes designing a specific look and feel for any particular brand campaign, creating Key Visuals and selling those to clients through story telling and client facing presentations; On a day to day, I am also designing Typography for print, illustrating story boards for video, creating motion design graphics, (for web banner ads and social media), writing for both Spanish and English in Radio and TV, and directing on-set for shoots for various clients. I also have over 4 years of experience designing for retail environments for our clients like AT&T, NTTA, Lone Star, and Phillips razors and toothbrushes (on shelf at target)

My aim as an Art Director is to question how and why we see each other the way we do. I want to change people's perspective and I find that sometimes a little chutzpah can go a long way - with tasteful design. Some of the work that I've had an opportunity to be involved with share the same passion for societal change that I do like #Act Out and Que Buen Taco.
